Type II is a signaling protocol that is used by certain Trunking Systems, and therefore for certain Trunking Personalities (see also ASTRO 25 and SmartZone). Type II Trunking allows you to set up Talkgroups, Announcement Groups, and Dynamic Regroupings as Trunking channels.
